Serck-Joo Hong

SJ (Serck-Joo) is a founder and CEO of Locus Capital Partners. SJ has more than 35 years of experience in investment and commercial banking area and consulting business. SJ has been involved in many transactions of mergers, acquisitions and financings for domestic as well as foreign corporations, ie, LG Household & Healthcare, Dongbu Group, Hite Jinro, Shinhan Financial Holdings, Destination of the World (DOTW), Japan Steel Works, etc... Before founding Locus, he has managed the Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), the sovereign wealth fund of Korea, Cho Hung Bank, Korea Securities Finance Company as CEO and served various governmental committees. He currently sits on the Board of Samsung SDI as a Director. SJ holds an MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor degree from Seoul National University.
