Manuel Salazar Robles
Manuel Salazar is an expert in investment banking. Throughout his career, he has provided consulting services for transactions totaling more than US$ 2 billion. The most important of these include participating in Iscaycruz, the Yuncan Hydroelectric Project, Agrobackus, Empresa Agroindustrial Casa Grande and the Transmantaro, Redesur and ISA Peru electric transmission companies. He has done the same for the concession of the New Container Terminal at the Port of Callao and the sale of the Las Americas Hotel Chain, Universidad Privada del Norte, CIESA and Camposol. He also participated in the private initiatives for the Chancaycocha water project and the new Muelle de Minerales del Callao (Callao Mineral Dock). He is the Director and member of the Macrocapitales Investment Committee and is a consultant for the Empresa de Generación Eléctrica Cahua and the Empresa Municipal de Peajes (Emape) in the structuring of the emission of bonds by the Municipality of Lima. He also participated in the structuring of lease bonds for Leasing Total and Banco Sudamericano, in the identification and assessment of financing provided by Credit Suisse for Copeinca (various transactions since 2005), Volcan (investments and restructuring of liabilities) and Camposol. Likewise, he provided consulting on the development of the Peruvian Capital Market for the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and the Peruvian Securities and Exchange Commission (CONASEV). His professional experience includes serving as General Manager of Macroconsult, Macroinvest and Macrogestion and Sudamericano Bolsa S.A.B.; as member of the Price Vector Committee of the Superintendency of Banking and Insurance (SBS), as a member of the Assets and Liabilities Committee at Banco Sudamericano and as Investment Manager at Macrovalortes S.A.B.
