Jaan Paavel
Associate Partner at Prudentia, Tallinn, Estonia at Prudentia
Jaan Paavel holds an associate partner position at Prudentia. He joined Investment Agency (Prudentia’s predecessor) at the beginning of 2019. Jaan has 30 years of experience in the financial sector.
Prior to joining Investment Agency, he worked at Nordea for over 12 years starting as the head of Nordea’s Viljandi Branch and working his way up to Head of Retail Banking/Deputy Head of Nordea Estonia. Before joining Nordea, Jaan served as a credit manager at Farm Plant Eesti AS (current business name Scandagra AS). Between 1993-2003 Jaan worked at Eesti Maapank in various leading positions, from branch manager to regional manager. At Eesti Maapank he was mainly responsible for financing and development of entrepreneurship in rural areas.
At Prudentia, Jaan’s main responsibilities include advising M&A transactions, both buy side and sell side. He currently takes part in projects among various industries, including energy, retail and agriculture.
